AN installed Venezuela-African Union Parliamentary Friendship Group

This Monday, the Legislative Branch installed the Venezuela-African Union Parliamentary Friendship Group.

According to a press release from the parliament, the president of the group, deputy Jesús Suárez Chourio, reported that this paves the way for strengthening Venezuela's relations with all the countries of the union.

The deputy highlighted the importance of these relationships in terms of cultural, educational and other areas of exchange. In this regard, he said that their expectations are wide in the geopolitical and geostrategic order.

“We will continue to walk, as a single block, in defense of respect. And we will have a common anti-Zionist and anti-terrorist front, despite the diversity,” said the parliamentarian.

For her part, the vice-president of the group, deputy Luz Coromoto Chacón, pointed out that this installation joins the International Parliamentary Forum against Fascism, and is a mechanism to make visible the normality of Venezuela.
