The National Assembly (AN) approved, this Tuesday, to set up a dialogue table in which all the country's political, economic and social actors participate to prepare a proposal for an electoral calendar for the presidential elections to be held in 2024.

This proposal is included in the agreement in rejection of any form of ultimatum by the United States against the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country, sanctioned by parliamentarians in plenary session.

Deputy Ricardo Molina was responsible for presenting this draft agreement, he explained that the proposed schedule, when concluded, will be submitted to the National Electoral Council (CNE) for evaluation and implementation, if considered appropriate.

“Nobody takes off their espadrilles; we are not going to allow anyone to meddle in the internal affairs of Venezuela; we are a free, democratic, profoundly popular nation and that is why we are going to continue with our Patria project,” Molina said.

In the heat of the debate, the opposition deputy Bernabé Gutiérrez (AD) pointed out that the opposition group supports this proposal and, he assured that, he will not allow the extreme right and its violent to continue calling for actions to destroy the country.
