The Judicial Nominations Committee of the National Assembly (AN) began the process to receive aspiring magistrates of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), court inspectors and director of the School of the Judiciary, said the president of the instance, Giuseppe Alessandrello.

Alessandrello explained that the 23 members of the committee are meeting working on the development of the evaluation scale for the appointment process. “We are already halfway through the drafting of this scale and all the decisions we have taken have been taken in a very friendly environment, approved unanimously,” said Alessandrello.

The head of the committee indicated that the evaluation tool will be approved this same day and then informed to the public to ensure transparency. As for the application schedule, he noted that it is normal and that during the morning of the first day, around 20 applications had already been registered, although he did not rule out the possibility of granting extensions to expand participation.

Regarding the collections delivered last May, Alessandrello clarified that this process was stopped due to the seismic double and the negotiation agreements, so these documents remain in the custody of the AN. “There are no nominations for another process here, that's false. What there are are documents from citizens who rest here in custody,” he emphasized, explaining that those interested in continuing should only state their intention in writing.

Finally, the president of the committee recalled that the requirements imposed on the candidates are strictly established by the Constitution of the Republic and the Organic Law of the Supreme Court of Justice. These regulations were detailed in the official call to ensure that applicants have the necessary credentials before submitting their folder.
