AN approves law for international air transport

The National Assembly (AN) unanimously approved, in a second discussion, the bill approving the Convention for the Unification of Certain Rules for International Air Transport, during the regular session held this Thursday.

This legal instrument is aimed at ensuring the safety and integrity of users through the modernization of air regulations. With the approval of this law, the Parliament seeks to provide greater legal support to citizens traveling abroad, as well as to ensure the safety of their luggage and cargo during international flights.

The agreement establishes provisions for the protection of passengers and the liability of transport companies. In this way, the Legislative Branch is making progress in adapting the Venezuelan legal system to international standards that regulate civil aviation, offering greater guarantees to citizens.
