AN approved first discussion of the Draft Budget for Financial Year 2025

The National Assembly (AN) approved, by qualified majority, the report through which the Draft Budget of the National Assembly, corresponding to the Financial Year 2025, is submitted in its first discussion.

“The Budget speaks of the growth established in accordance with the constitutional law of the Homeland Plan 2019-2025, of the 18 economic engines and the 7 transformations, attention to the food system and the strengthening of the health system,” emphasized the deputy José Gregorio Vielma Mora before the plenary.

He stressed that this Budget is based on real national currency and that 77.6% is allocated to social investment.

“It is an economic stability that ECLAC is already seeing that Venezuela is going to grow more economically in the region despite being the country with the most sanctions imposed,” he emphasized.
