AN approved appointment of ambassadors to Mozambique and Austria

The Legislative Branch unanimously approved the appointment of Modesto Antonio Ruiz Espinoza, as Venezuelan ambassador to the Republic of Mozambique and Claudia Salermo Caldera, as ambassador to the Republic of Austria.

At the regular session held at the Federal Legislative Palace, the reports of the Permanent Committee on Foreign Policy, Sovereignty and Integration were presented, in which the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, was authorized to make such appointments.

The appointment of Salermo is to Austria with the participation of the Slovak Republic, Republic of Slovenia, Republic of Croatia, and as Ambassador Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN), with headquarters in Vienna, Republic of Austria and other Multilateral Organizations based in that country.

In this case, Deputy Saúl Ortega was responsible for presenting the report of the Permanent Committee on Foreign Policy, Sovereignty and Integration.

The appointment of Modesto Ruiz Espinoza is as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Republic of Mozambique, concurrent with the Kingdom of Eswatini and the Republic of Malawi. The report was presented by Deputy Lionel Muñoz.
