The National Assembly (AN) unanimously approved the Draft Agreement in Rejection of the Rude and Interferential Decision adopted in the Congress of Spain, in disregard of the popular victory of Nicolás Maduro, as constitutional president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

The presentation of the Agreement was given by the first vice-president of the AN, deputy Pedro Infante, who maintained that Venezuela is a free and sovereign people as established by the National Constitution.

He stressed that they will kick out any empire that intends to violate the peace of all Venezuelans. He also added that Spain is currently a refuge for criminals of the Venezuelan right wing, “of thieves, murderers and traitors to the Fatherland.”

For his part, the president of the AN, deputy Jorge Rodríguez, asked the Bolivarian Government of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, to break diplomatic, commercial and consular relations with the Kingdom of Spain.

“I want to ask this (legislative) body to approve in a tumultuous, enthusiastic way, that we approve indignantly, but at the same time aware of the value we have inherited, an agreement where we urgently request that the Bolivarian Government break diplomatic, consular and commercial relations with the Kingdom of Spain,” he added.

He also requested that the return of Venezuelan diplomatic personnel to that country be included, as well as to request that flights and activities of Spanish companies in Venezuela cease immediately.

Rodríguez asserted that the Government will remind the Spanish Congress that Venezuela is an independent country and welcomed “the essence of the deputies who voted against” the recognition of Edmundo González as president of Venezuela.

He emphasized to the deputies that they agreed to propose to the government of Spain that the “monarchy of Mormons that has served nothing other than corruption be abolished, that they do so with the sign of habit”.

He also argued that Venezuela has never meddled in the affairs of other countries “we have been patient, and that is not a renewable resource, patience is running out, there is a sector of politics in Spain that does not forgive us because 200 years ago we defeated them and fled, because we were protagonists of the Battle of Ayacucho it seems that they insisted on attacking us for that”.

“Who has given them the status of being a kind of gendarmes will soon become known about the participation of representatives of the Spanish State in acts violating the peace of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, acts of conspiracy. Two gentlemen sightseeing in Atabapo. And there was not a single reference from TripAdvisor, but if there was a certificate of the deposits they were going to receive once they committed the commissioned murders, it will soon be known,” he added.
