Amoroso asked the Public Ministry to investigate terrorist actions perpetrated against the electoral system

The president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Elvis Amoroso, “immediately” requested the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, to initiate an investigation into terrorist actions perpetrated against the electoral system and against voting centers.

After issuing the first bulletin with the electoral results, Amoroso added the need to investigate “ electoral officials” in the same way, while calling on all Venezuelans to respect the Constitution, the laws of the Republic and “the mandate of the people expressed in the voting machines.”

With regard to the electoral results, he indicated that “ in the next few hours, the results will be available on the website of the National Electoral Council table by table, as has been done historically.”
