The ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Stella Lugo, presented the Credential Letters to the President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, this Wednesday.

The Venezuelan Foreign Minister, Yván Gil, indicated on his Telegram channel that, during the meeting, “Ambassador Lugo transmitted a message from President Nicolás Maduro, emphasizing the desire to strengthen cooperation and dialogue between Mexico and Venezuela, as well as a recognition to the president for her management and firmness in the direction of her country.”

Meanwhile, “President Sheinbaum expressed a message of fraternity and solidarity to the Venezuelan government and people, reaffirming Mexico's commitment to union and development in the Latin American and Caribbean region,” Gil said.

Last January, Lugo presented the Style Copies to the Secretariat of Foreign Affairs of the United Mexican States, at an event attended by the Director General of Protocol, Ambassador Jonathán Chait Auerbach, and Pablo Monroy, Director General of South America.
