AMAZONAS-ATURES/Gobernador Rodríguez: Amazonian people are aware and will remain on the streets

From the Atures municipality, during the mobilization in support of President Nicolás Maduro and in rejection of the sanctions imposed by the North American empire, the governor of the state of Amazonas, Miguel Rodríguez, assured that the Amazonian people are aware and will remain on the streets.

Rodríguez said that the People of Amazonas value three fundamental things about President Nicolás Maduro: “the first is that he restored peace to us, the second works to stabilize the economy and the third is that, following the legacy of Commander Hugo Chávez, they value indigenous peoples.”

“Nobody is obliged here, here what we have is revolutionary consciousness. Hope travels the streets, it travels through the jungle, because we are in the Venezuelan jungle,” said Rodríguez.

He also pointed out that the media are going to try to hide this extraordinary mobilization, they are going to ban us from the networks, “but that will give us more strength to continue on the street.”
