More than 2,500 kilos of Colombian food were detected and destroyed by the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) while carrying out border patrolling tasks in the state of Amazonas, reported the Strategic Operational Commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez.

Through a message published in his X account, the senior military officer explained that the food entered our country from Inírida and was intended to sustain illegal mining operations in that entity.

“Venezuela is a territory of peace and we will not allow ecocidal invasions in our country,” he said.
