ALBA-TCP repudiates the theft of a Venezuelan aircraft hijacked in Argentina since 2022

The Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP) repudiates the theft of the Boeing 747 aircraft, owned by the Aerocargo del Sur Transportation Company (Emtrasur), a subsidiary of the Venezuelan airline CONVIASA, hijacked in Argentina since 2022.

“These measures flagrantly violate the Convention on International Civil Aviation, the Charter of the United Nations and other existing agreements related to international law,” says the statement published by the organization on the social network X.

In this regard, ALBA-TCP said that it joins the demands of the Bolivarian Government of Venezuela and supports the legal, diplomatic and political actions that Venezuelan institutions have taken to prevent the illegal appropriation of their assets
