The Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP) condemned this Tuesday the growing wave of violence in the Middle East, driven by the Zionist regime of Israel, which has carried out multiple attacks in Lebanon, in addition to maintaining a genocide against the Palestinian People in Gaza.

In a statement, the regional integration bloc rejected “the inconceivable impunity with which the State of Israel acts and ratify the need to take measures within the framework of international law to stop the violence of the Israeli elite, while reaffirming their commitment to peace, tolerance and sacred respect for life.”

Below is the full text of the document:

The member States of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-Peoples' Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) express their absolute condemnation of the dangerous escalation of violence that is taking place in the Middle East, specifically the attacks carried out by the Israeli army on the territory of the Lebanese Republic.

The excessive violence that Israel's ruling elite has unleashed on surrounding countries is unacceptable and inhumane. Almost a year after the beginning of this new phase of systematic genocide against the Palestinian population, the Israeli government is not satisfied with having perpetrated flagrant and systematic violations of the human rights of the Palestinian people and of international law by mercilessly attacking the civilian population of Gaza, but it also attacks other sovereign States in constant criminal retaliation, which ends in the death of innocent civilians and in enormous destruction.

The ALBA-TCP has been warning about the seriousness of the regionalization of the conflict and the need to end the impunity with which Israel acts. Today there are more than 41,431 fatalities in Palestine, more than 100 dead and 400 injured in Lebanon, in addition to material damage in Gaza, the West Bank, Syria and other countries in the region.

The member countries of the Bolivarian Alliance reject the inconceivable impunity with which the State of Israel acts and confirm the need to take measures within the framework of international law to stop the violence of the Israeli elite, while reaffirming their commitment to peace, tolerance and sacred respect for life.
