The Iberia airline will resume operations with Venezuela this Thursday, July 9, after almost two weeks of suspension as a result of the devastating earthquakes that hit the country at the end of June.

The airline will fly to Valencia instead of Caracas and will reduce its weekly frequencies from four to two, the airline said.

The operational details of the route include two weekly frequencies (Thursday and Sunday) from Madrid to Valencia, with return flights to Spain making a technical stopover in Santo Domingo. The aircraft used will be the Airbus A330-200 from Iberia's wide-body fleet, with capacity for 288 passengers
