The candidate for governor of the state Apure, for the Great Patriotic Pole Simón Bolívar Wilmer Rodríguez, registered his application with the National Electoral Council (CNE).

During his meeting with the people, who were waiting for him outside the electoral body, Rodríguez reiterated his commitment to governing by listening to the people from the streets, as instructed by President Nicolás Maduro.

“We know what to do, we have to work together with the people, listening to the people, because you are the ones who are right and you know what the needs are in your neighborhood, in your community, on the street; that's why you're not going to see me in the office, that's why you're going to see me as you've seen me these last 200 days working with the town on the street,” he added.

The registration of Rodríguez's candidacy was accompanied by the deputy Cristóbal Jiménez and enlivened to the rhythm of the entity's own llanera music.
