The Superintendency of Banking Sector Institutions (SUDEBAN) guarantees the operation of Bancamiga Banco Universal C.A, after the arrest of some directors of that financial institution, for their alleged participation in the PDVSA-Cripto corruption scheme.

In an official statement, published on its social networks, SUDEBAN stated that the operations of this financial institution are proceeding with absolute normality.

The Superintendency of Banking Sector Institutions (SUDEBAN), in carrying out its mission as the body responsible for regulating the national financial system, informs the national community, and especially the users, clients and employees of Bancamiga Banco Universal C.A, that the operations of this financial institution are carried out with absolute normality within the legal framework and regulations that govern the operation of the national financial system.

As is public knowledge, in the last few hours, the Public Prosecutor's Office - in the course of its investigations into the PDVSA-Cripto case - has issued arrest warrants against representatives of Bancamiga Banco Universal for their participation in this serious corruption scheme.

In this regard, the Superintendency is carrying out a process of accompanying and monitoring this institution in order to guarantee its normal functioning, as well as the deposits and interests of its clients, users and the rights of workers. Workers' rights.
