9,000 employees active in Miranda for Safe Holy Week 2024

In Miranda state, the Safe Holy Week 2024 security deployment took place this Friday, where 9,000 police, military, Civil Protection and Fire officers were activated to protect and protect their own and seasonal workers.

The Secretary of Security and Citizen Peace of Miranda, Lenín Sosa, explained that more than 600 lifeguards have also been deployed on the 40 beaches and resorts suitable for this season.

“We have security forces by sea and land, helicopters, boats, road quadrants, drone systems for the protection of citizens. The different security agencies, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, the National, State and Municipal Police, Civil Protection, Firefighters, among others, are participating,” he added.

Sosa explained that the Ven-911 service and the 0800-MIRAND A will work together with community spokespersons, the People's Power and the Bolivarian National Militia to ensure security in the state.

The security deployment was carried out simultaneously in the five axes of the entity, Altos Mirandinos, Valles del Tuy, Guarenas-Guatire, Barlovento and Metropolitan Axis, where prioritized points were established for the agenda of cultural activities in the different municipalities, as well as the accompaniment to religious and tourist sites.
