78 doctors from Guinea-Bissau arrived in the country to study at the ELAM

A total of 78 doctors from Guinea-Bissau arrived in the country to join the different postgraduate programs offered by the “Salvador Allende” Latin American School of Medicine, said the Deputy Minister of Comprehensive Health of the Ministry of Health, Yuliana Ramos.

In a video released by the head of the health portfolio, Magaly Gutiérrez, in her X account, Ramos explained that this quota of doctors is joined by another 8 students from that country who are in Venezuela, thus raising the number of 86 men and women.

It was also reported that African doctors will be pursuing specialty studies in areas such as anesthesiology, general surgery, gynecological obstetrics, internal medicine, legal medicine, nephrology, neonatology, ophthalmology, traumatology and pediatrics.
