75 organized communes of Nueva Esparta submitted 511 projects to the Popular Consultation on October 18

The state of Nueva Esparta has 75 communes organized in communal circuits across the entity's 11 municipalities, where 511 projects will be submitted to Popular Consultation on October 18 in the 160 active voting centers.

In this regard, Governor Marisel Velásquez held a preparatory meeting with the People's Power and authorities of the National Executive to refine the logistical details of the Popular Consultation on October 18. ‎

‎ ‎ “We have prepared ourselves with the 11 mayors and 75 communes that live in this island region, so we are all well organized to accompany our people. The commune is the one that organizes, and the people are the protagonists of this story,” emphasized the Governor.

For this community electoral process in Nueva Esparta, a total of 511 local projects, designed and debated by the communities themselves, have been nominated. The logistics infrastructure in the state will cover 75 active communes and communal circuits; 160 authorized voting centers and 172 polling stations deployed in the state's 11 municipalities.
