The head of the Integral Defense Zone of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces in the state of Sucre (ZODI-Sucre), V/A Luciano Francisco Fernández, reported that at night, electricity service had been recovered in 70% of the area affected by the intense rains and winds caused by the passage of Hurricane Beryl in the Caribbean.

The military chief pointed out that work is already being carried out to recover the system in the San Lorenzo sector, which is estimated to have service in a maximum of two hours.

He also highlighted that five supertanks and eight tanks are already in place to supply water to residents.

At the same time, he specified that equipment and machinery from the Ministry for Public Works and members of the FANB and the Bolivarian National Police are already carrying out road clearance tasks.

“The objective of my Commander in Chief is that tomorrow when people get up they will see the change in the current situation,” he said.

For his part, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted this action and emphasized that “while the fascists are celebrating with their hatred, we walk with the People of Cumanacoa looking for solutions and attending to them”.

“With love, we put an end to the hatred of the fascists,” he said. ,
