60% of cases of dengue increased in Paraguay in the last week

The Ministry of Public Health and Social Welfare of Paraguay reported that 893 new cases of dengue fever have been registered in the last week.
In this regard, he explained that there is an increase of 60% in cases
compared to the previous week.
In this regard, the South American country has a total of 27,747 cumulative cases
of dengue from epidemiological week number 1 of the year 2023 to epidemiological week number 3 of the current
year.
The official report of the Paraguayan health portfolio states that in the reference
period (last three weeks), there are seven health regions
in the country that show the highest increase in notifications and cases of the virus.
