The Infrastructure and Urbanism Commission of the City Council of Caracas, set a goal for 2024 to triple management numbers for this year, as requested by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro and the Mayor of the Libertador Municipality, Carmen Meléndez.

In this regard, the councilor added that this work consisted of developing a methodology with the People's Power, communes and communal councils, which were primarily oriented to planning their works, drafting their Concrete Agenda for Action, placing emphasis on services and infrastructure, consulting citizens on priority and implementing solutions with the community's workforce.

“Based on the ACA, we seek resources with different articulations, mainly with the Ministry of Communes and the Mayor's Office of Caracas, for the resolution of problems, of the community itself, with self-construction, with a lot of collaboration from the inhabitants who benefit from these works,” he said.

The Councilman explained that one of the main elements to highlight in 2023 was that they held a popular consultation, in each of the communes, to define, within the framework of their ACA, what was the priority to be financed or attended to. Around 18,000 people participated in this consultation.
