The most important thing about a program is its audience, without a doubt, that's because its production meets the requirements to be a good communication space: informative and entertaining. Throughout these 500 programs, Con El Mazo Dando has hit it with a home run and with the bases full, because it has a very high rating every Wednesday that even the scumbags don't get rid of it.
Thanks to the technology of these times, we took a tour of social networks and met with the audience of El Mazo to tell us about their routine every Wednesday before the program.
“I have a Telegram group where members don't miss the deck”
Yoner Paredes, a young man from El Vigía, Mérida state, an administration student who works as an ecotourism guide in the Andean entity, explained to us how he gets ready to watch his favorite show.
“I work all day but when I get home clean, I make lunch the next day and dinner. I have a group on Telegram where I warn members not to miss the Mazo, which shows the reality and veracity of information about our country,” said Paredes.
He explained that this social network discusses what Captain Diosdado Cabello Rondón presents.
“Without a doubt, the letters to the Cooperating Patriots are something I don't miss and as Captain Cabello reads it, it gives him that spark with that unique touch that he has,” he said.
He congratulated the Con El Mazo Dando team for their 500 programs.
“I am already looking forward to the development of this program and that there are still many more who continue to give us our Captain Diosdado Cabello,” he emphasized.
“I get ready every Wednesday with my cotufa package to laugh a lot”
The nursing graduate, Virgina Fuentes, is a laughing woman who opened the doors of her home to us and told
us that she already has dinner ready at six in the afternoon so as not to be so busy when the Mazo begins. He explained to us that he is getting together as a family to watch the show.
“I get ready every Wednesday with my cotufa package, happy in life to laugh with my family and be aware of everything my Captain Diosdado says; I love that program,” he said.
He said that his favorite part of the program is when they remember the speeches of Commander Hugo Chávez, while indicating that it is also important to show what María Corina Machado and other extreme rightists who have done harm to the country represent.
“I think (the program) is important because the face of the opposition is undressed, they reveal it and you realize the kind of people they are, their evil,” he stressed.
He stressed that the Mazo is a communication space for all Venezuelans because, regardless of political position, you can see what is happening in the country.
“I'm 100% sure that more than one opponent sees the Deck and realizes that what's happening in the program is true,” she said.
“From seven o'clock I sit down to wait for the Mazo”
We saw a man sharing with some little ones and we were so struck by his dedication to them that we approached him to get to know him better.
This is Víctor Trejo, 68 years old, retired, who is currently taking care of his grandchildren. He very kindly told us that since seven in the evening he likes to be in front of the television waiting for the Mazo to start.
“What I like the most is the analysis of the Billboard because you can see the contradictions of the right and the Mazazos entertain me, I like the façade that represents that political sector of the country,” he said.
He stressed that the attractiveness of the communication trench is that it informs, entertains and denounces the fascist plans of the right, so he congratulated Diosdado Cabello for the 500 programs.
“Congratulations to Mazo, we hope it reaches a thousand and I will have life to see it. Thank you for such a valuable program,” he emphasized.
“My dad is waiting for me to see the Mazo”
During a surgical day of ophthalmology at the Hugo Chávez New Generation Mission Hospital in Catia, we spoke to Emna Granados, a 29-year-old woman who works in the security area of this health facility, she treated us kindly and with a smile she told us that she saw the Mazo.
“My dad is the one who invites me on Wednesdays to see him together, I like to see him laugh because I know that he enjoys it a lot and he infects me with that joy he transmits and that I know is because Diosdado Cabello conducts it in a masterful way,” he said.
“He told us that it is important that this program continue to be carried out because it is the only one that remembers the teachings of Commander Hugo Chávez,” he said.
“Thank you Diosdado for making my dad have a lot of fun and I'm happy with that, also because Chávez is an important being for us because as much as you and our giant are part of our family,” he said.
“Tejo watching the deck”
On this same health day, we were struck by a very nice girl who accompanied her mother for cataract surgery, and with her wide smile she agreed to the interview.
Cristhy Márquez is a 42-year-old entrepreneur who explained to us that on Wednesdays after her activities she sits comfortably in her living room to see the Mazo.
“I grab my knitting needle, with my respective coffee cup and settle in (laughs). For me, knitting and watching the show relaxes me, I really enjoy it,” he said.
With his jovial attitude, Márquez continued to praise this communication space born in Revolution.
“I love the Chávez videos because it's the most emotional part for me. Happy 500th program, I call on you to continue to keep the Chavista community active,” he emphasized.
These 500 programs mean that no plowing has been plowed in the sea, but rather the commitment to continue bringing the truth to Venezuelans has been fulfilled because “No trick no Maña, the Mazo does not deceive”.
