4-O: Seven avenues overwhelmed by the rain of love from a People to its Commander Chávez

The political campaign that once again led Venezuela to the victory of the liberating Homeland ended 12 years ago. Under the slogan “Chávez Heart of the People”, the Supreme Commander Hugo Chávez, the candidate of the Venezuelan patriots who were crowned with victory on October 7, 2012, was achieved.

This historic epic began on July 1, 2012 when the Eternal Commander began his campaign with a caravan that left Mariara in Carabobo State until reaching Constitución de Maracay Avenue, in Aragua. “As that song says, it's more than love frenzy, the Bolivarian frenzy, the Bolivarian hurricane kicked off,” Chávez said in his first speech of the 2012 campaign.

With great fervor, joy and the loving reception of citizens, Hugo Chávez continued to tour Venezuela, to continue providing citizens with freedom and a sovereign homeland.

The campaign culminated on October 4, 2012 with a red tide that flooded several avenues in Caracas, in addition to an intense rain that was no reason for the people to leave the streets, thus confirming their commitment to victory.

From a stage on Bolívar Avenue, Chávez raised his voice to sing the National Anthem with the people. “This battle is more than 500 years old on this earth, here we are the children of Guaicaipura (...) we come from the aboriginal resistance, the Indian resistance, the black resistance, the battle has been long. We are the children of Simon Bolivar! , we are free women and men!” , this was exalted by the Eternal Commander in his last speech at the close of the campaign.
