2,853 CICPC officials promoted on the 23rd anniversary of the detective body

A total of 2,853 officials of the Criminal and Criminal Scientific Investigations Corps were promoted to the next higher rank during the 23rd anniversary of the police agency.

The general director of the CICPC, Commissioner General Douglas Rico, reported that 3,458 officials and officials participated in the promotion work, all of whom serve in the different police divisions and regions.

In his words, Rico specified that “the CICPC was born in 2001 after the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, in its article 332, the second ordinal, established it, dividing history in two the former Technical Judicial Police Corps and the CICPC.”

He congratulated the civil servants who participated in the Gold, Silver and Bronze Crab award, awards that reward the research work carried out for the resolution of punishable acts.

In that regard, Douglas Rico noted that at this time it is necessary to remember that there is siege by internal and external enemies who seek the mass death of young people in schools through challenges promoted on social networks and also by presenting themselves in educational centers to persuade minors.

In this regard, he called on the police force to stay active and visit learning spaces, “we cannot let our guard down on this issue.”
