15 dead people leave heavy rains in the southern United States

Heavy rain and a tornado hitting the southern United States have left at least 15 people dead in Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Kentucky.

In this regard, the governor of Texas, Greg Abbot, reported this Sunday that seven people died and another 100 were injured, in addition, the storm destroyed a traffic stop and mobile homes in Cooke County.

While in Arkansas, at least five people died as a result of the storms, in Oklahoma two people lost their lives in Mayes County, the Emergency Management Agency reported.

For its part, the website PowerOutage.us., published that more than 300,000 residents in Texas, Arkansas and Kentucky were left without electricity.
