1,200 officials from the various security agencies in the state of Cojedes are active in the more than 50 road checkpoints distributed along trunks 005 and 013, communities and tourist sites in the llanera entity, with the purpose of guaranteeing tourists a safe return.

This was reported in a well-known national newspaper, in which it was detailed that the uniformed personnel provided leaflets with information on prevention and recommendation to act in case of emergency.

Aleida Rivas, State Commissioner of the Great Mission Quadrants of Peace, reported that they are deployed protecting the people, “and giving recommendations with traffic regulations to avoid any type of incident, and we are also advising drivers and companions to use seatbelts at all times, as well as to have boys and girls in the back seats, and not to drink alcoholic beverages.”

Also, Rivas pointed out that motorcyclists are given guidance on how to use a helmet and carry only one passenger, to avoid traffic accidents. “We are deployed to ensure that all those who return can do so safely and expeditiously with the support of the Traffic Police, Bolivarian National Police, State Police, Civil Protection, Cojedes Firefighters, Tourist Police, Senade, Security University and the Municipal Police,” he said.
