Venezuela sends nearly 14 tons of humanitarian aid to Syria and Lebanon

The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela sent nearly 14 tons of humanitarian aid this Friday to Syria and Lebanon in solidarity with the conflict that both nations are facing against the Zionist siege and Israel's bellicose policies.
“Venezuela remains firm in its commitment to supporting the nations of the Middle East in their struggle for peace and self-determination,” Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yván Gil said through his Telegram channel.
The event was led by the Deputy Minister for Asia, the Middle East and Oceania of the Ministry of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Tatiana Pugh, who stressed that this humanitarian aid aims to try to alleviate a little the suffering of the people who are massacred.”
He specified that the shipment is composed of medicines, food, utensils and others, while stressing that these actions on the part of Venezuela are a “message of humanity, support and affection; they know that they will always count on President Nicolás Maduro and on the Bolivarian Revolution.”
The ambassador of the Lebanese Republic, Elías Lebbos, and the ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic to Venezuela, Kenan Zaher Al Deen, thanked the Bolivarian Government for this noble gesture of solidarity and humanitarian.
