Venezuela and Saudi Arabia promote investment and work in various economic sectors

This Tuesday, the president of the International Center for Productive Investment (CIIP), Alex Saab, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Abdullah Mohammad Al Saihani, met to promote bilateral cooperation.
At the meeting, Saab and Mohammad Al Saihani agreed on the basis for boosting investments in livestock, agriculture and energy between the two countries and among the proposals discussed, the organization of a virtual meeting between Venezuelan and Saudi businessmen in the fishing and aquaculture sector stands out, thus facilitating contact and the generation of business opportunities that will benefit the economy of both countries, and also the regional one.
Bilateral relations between Venezuela and Saudi Arabia have a long history, based on their joint participation in the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), where both countries signed their birth certificate on September 14, 1960.
