Saab prosecutor: The world rejects US maneuvers against Venezuela

“The world has rejected this, we see how every day a statement comes out against the macabre way of carrying out international terrorist politics by the United States against Venezuela,” said the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, during a day of the Public Ministry (MP) in the state of Anzoátegui.

He pointed out that the United States government resorts to conflicts with other countries as an excuse to try to intervene militarily in Venezuela, an attitude that has been rejected by the international community.

“What does Venezuela have to do with what is happening on the United States border? , well, nothing; but they make excuses for the empire to say where they want to intervene militarily in Venezuela,” he said.

Saab stated that these actions constitute aggressions against a free and sovereign people, in addition to recalling that Washington's foreign policy seeks to destabilize nations in order to impose their geopolitical interests in the region.

The Attorney General applauded the citizen's response to the call for the enlistment of the Bolivarian Militia, stressing the willingness of the Venezuelan people to defend peace. “We see how the people of Venezuela have taken to the streets to get ready, peacefully, in all the squares of the country; so for that I congratulate the People,” he said.

He ratified the Public Ministry's commitment to the stability of the nation and assures that the institution “will remain firm to strengthen and maintain the peace and security of the country”, in coordination with State forces.
