The
President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, congratulated, through
his Telegram channel, the delegation of Paralympic and Olympic athletes
for their performances in Paris 2024.
“
I thank life and God for giving us so much, it's a beauty to see the people's
admiration for you Venezuelan champions and Paralympic champions.
I congratulate you! In addition to being great athletes, you are part of
a greater cause called, Venezuela!” , wrote the head of state.
This
Tuesday, the national president received the flag bearers, whom he expressed his
pride; and he recognized and decorated the Paralympic athletes with the Order of Liberators and Liberators.
“It's
a beauty to see the arrival of our champions who come full of
victories and close the Paris 2024 Olympic stage, to open the
upcoming 2028 games in the city of Los Angeles. I think I'll see them all successfully
participating in these games,” he said.
