Government has seized more than one million doses of illegal substances over the course of 2025

“In a perfect popular, military and police fusion, we have managed to get more than 1,600,000 doses of different illicit substances out of circulation in the country,” said the National Anti-Drug Superintendent, M/G Danny Ferrer Sandrea, during the broadcast of the radio program “SNA Siempre Contigo” this Friday, May 9 .
In a press release from the Ministry of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace (MPPRIJP), on his account on the social network Instagram, Ferrer explained that it has been a constant and permanent hard work in coordination with the different citizen security bodies, which has resulted in the seizure of more than 30 tons of illegal substances so far this year.
For her part, the coordinator of the National Information System on Drugs (SINADRO) and controlled chemical substances of the National Anti-Drug Superintendency (SNA), Berlena González, stated that “we are working to ensure a healthier Venezuelan society.”
In this regard, he urged young people to remain alert to the diversification of narcotic substances that are found illegally in the country
He specified that “the Bolivarian Government focuses on the development of public policies related to the fight against all this issue.”
He also stressed that Venezuela “has been an influence at the international level in terms of defense against drug trafficking and illicit consumption. (...) They ask us for secrecy to apply it also in each of their countries.”
