FANB maintains its deployment in Amazonas carrying out environmental preservation tasks

The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) are still deployed in the state of Amazonas, carrying out environmental preservation and land defense tasks.
This was reported by the strategic operational commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez, who, through his X account, explained that this deployment is carried out in response to the fifth strategic objective of the Homeland Plan.
“Our territory is a territory of peace and we will not allow the degradation of our nature by transcrime groups that cross borders to practice illegal mining in border areas under a special protection regime,” he said.
