The Permanent Commission for Integral Social Development will monitor compliance with
the Organic Law for the Inclusion, Equality and
Integral Development of Persons with Disabilities, for which purpose it will visit
public and private companies throughout the country.
This
was reported this Tuesday by the president of the commission, Deputy Rodolfo Crespo
(PSUV/Miranda), after the presentation of the legislative agenda of the
Subcommittee on Social Protection, Mission System and Great Missions for the period 2024-2025.
He recalled
that this law was approved by the National Assembly (AN) on
March 14, and aims to guarantee the recognition of the human dignity
of these Venezuelans, as subjects of full right.
Crespo
proposed continuing the debate on laws already enacted by the
National Executive, such as the Law on Student Participation in the Basic Education Subsystem.
But
also, he said, with the Law for Comprehensive Care for People with Autism Spectrum
Disorder; the Special Law for
Workers with Disabilities; and the Organic Law for the Inclusion, Equality and Integral
Development of Persons with Disabilities, in order to
make them known to the public.
In
his opinion, an important advance has been achieved in society by having this
type of device, which favor those most in need; for this
reason, he called for vigilance in complying with them.
The
president of the Subcommittee on Social Protection, System of Missions and
Great Missions, deputy Yuraima Quintero (PSUV/National), reported on the
proposals of the legislative agenda of that body for this year 2024.
He noted,
among the legislative proposals, the Preliminary Bill on Comprehensive Care for Blind
People and People with Visual Impairments; the Draft Bill on Comprehensive Care for People with Intellectual Disabilities; and the
Preliminary Bill on Comprehensive Care for People with Motor Disabilities.
In addition,

Inspectors; the Preliminary Bill on the Professional
Practice of Architects; the Draft Law on the Professional Practice of Fiscal
Sciences; and the Draft Law on the Professional Practice of Social Managers.
