Deportivo Táchira remained in first place in the FUTVE League Clausura Tournament

Deportivo Táchira remained first in the standings of the Venezuelan Football League Clausura Tournament (FUTVE League), after the end of the tenth round.

Táchira rescued a valuable point, after a 1-1 draw with Metropolitanos FC, at the Olympic stadium in the capital city. Marco Bustillo scored for the locals at minute 54′ and for the visit Luis Zúñiga at 90+6′.

For their part, Estudiantes de Mérida has continued to hold onto second place in the table, after drawing 1-1 with Deportivo La Guaira, at the UCV Olympic Stadium. The goals were courtesy of Richard Peralta at 24′ for the Naran J a team and Cristhian Rivas at 76′ for the Andean team.

Meanwhile, Carabobo FC beat Portuguesa FC 1-0, with a goal from Miguel Ángel Pernía at 90+5′, at the Misael Delgado stadium in Valencia. With that same result, UCV FC defeated Rayo Zuliano, with a goal from Juan Camilo Zapata at 74′, at the Olympic Stadium in Caracas.

In the stadium, Ricardo Tulio Maya, in Ciudad Bolívar, Monagas SC dominated Academia Puerto Cabello 2-1 . The winning goals were scored by Jacobo Kouffati at 65′ and José Murillo at 74′, while the discount was achieved by Rodrigo Rivas at 79′ penalty.

For its part, Caracas FC beat Inter de Barinas 2-1 as a visitor, at the La Carolina stadium in the
Llanera entity. The Reds opened the scoring through Edwuin Pernía at 8′ and Ender Echenique scored the winning goal at 35′. The discount came courtesy of David Leonardy at 90′.

Angostura FC fell 1-2 to Zamora FC at Ricardo Tulio Maya in Ciudad Bolivar. The locals opened the scoring in the 21st minute with a goal from Luis David González, but the visit managed to come back in the second half with goals from Yackson Rivas at 54′ and Ronald Alexis Acuña 65′.

The third, fourth and fifth place in the standings are occupied by Carabobo, UCV and Monagas, respectively, with 18 points each. While the sixth and seventh squares are occupied by La Guaira and Rayo Zuliano with 17 C/U units.
