Community tourist exchanges take place in Monagas

With the route of the “El Guarapiche Unites Us” Route, the first exchange takes place in Monagas, as part of World Tourism Week, to promote the development of the communal, sustainable and sustainable tourism economy. The Monaguense tourism authority, Rosy Salazar, reported that the route consisted of 68 inhabitants of the Roraima sector, La Pica parish, who were able to enjoy the wonders offered by the entity.

He indicated that the Bajo Guarapiche Community Council accompanied visitors to visit the places of interest together with the community tourist brigade members. “The day included the La Guaricha Zoological Park, the Multisports Complex with its renovated spaces and the Guarapiche River, where the tour guide Orlando Chirinos, a pioneer of the community route, told those present part of the history of the majestic tributary.”

In addition, he emphasized that the Monagas State Tourism Corporation (Corpoturismo) and the National Tourism Institute (Inatur) promote these activities as a valuable tool to publicize the wonders of the city of Monagua.

Finally, he thanked Governor Ernesto Luna for continuing to promote these initiatives that are shaping the entity as a destination with multiple charms and a tourist power.
