The National Cinemateca Foundation (FCN), attached to the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture (MPPC), invites all audiences to immerse themselves in the world of modern war and media manipulation through its new film series: “Unconventional War and Fake News”.

Throughout the month of September, the FCN theatres will screen a selection of documentary and fictional films that explore the evolution of war, from traditional confrontations to the sophisticated strategies of psychological warfare and disinformation.

Unconventional war is a form of warfare that uses technological tools to manipulate public opinion and destabilize governments. Fake news is a key weapon in this strategy, designed to generate chaos and confusion.

Films to be presented:
* White House Scandal: A classic that satirizes media manipulation in politics.
* Enjambre: A Venezuelan documentary that analyzes the implications of the fourth-generation war.
* Psychological Warfare: A documentary that explores the psychological warfare tactics used throughout history.
* Posttruth: A documentary that delves into the phenomenon of disinformation and its consequences.
* The hate factory: A recent documentary that investigates the production of hate speech and its impact on society.

Don't miss this opportunity to reflect on the importance of truthful information and the challenges facing democracy in the 21st century.
