The Minister of Popular Power for Sports, Arnaldo Sánchez, and the governor of the state of Anzoátegui, Luis José Marcano, inspected this Wednesday the infrastructures that will host the next Youth National Sports Games 2024.

In addition to being the host state for around 19 disciplines, Anzoátegui will be the host state for the opening ceremony of this sporting event, to be held between November 8 and 24.

The authorities toured the spaces in Barcelona arranged in the Gran Plaza Libertadores, Rafael Maestro Coa stadium (Venezuela Stadium), the Luis Ramos indoor gymnasium, the José Antonio Anzoátegui Olympic stadium, the Pancho Alegría children's soccer field, and the facilities of the Parque Caribe in Lechería and the Jesús Rizales stadium from Guanta.

The route aims to “guarantee optimal spaces and receive athletes from the country's 24 entities, where Anzoátegui, Sucre and Monagas will share headquarters in this historic event”, say the authorities.

Anzoátegui will receive delegations for fencing, bodybuilding, dominoes, softball, 5×5 basketball, 3×3 basketball, archery, sports shooting, field soccer, hapkido, inline skates, table tennis, wushu, electronic sports, kickboxing, field tennis, taekwondo and bowling.
