This Wednesday, April 24, the President of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega, stated that the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP), “is a weapon for peace and unity of Latin American and Caribbean Peoples.”

“We are in a battle where yesterday's imperialists are trying to undermine and undermine, to penetrate Latin American unity,” he said.

In this regard, Ortega assured that “we already know, but the instruments that the imperialists have with the Nazi-Fascist in Argentina and Ecuador and others that are hanging around there, the Peoples are going to pass the bill, the bill”.

He argued that sooner rather than later, the Argentine people, “the people who saw the birth of Ernesto “Che” Guevara, are going to free themselves from the Nazi-Fascist”.

The proposal was made at the XXIII Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP), led by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

He also referred to the process in Cuba, which “is fighting the battle, a heroic battle.”

The Nicaraguan president denounced the interventionist actions of the United States government against Venezuela.

On the other hand, he rejected Guyana's action to hand over oil concessions in the Essequibo territory, whose claim by Venezuela has not been resolved, as a result of which “the negotiation is seriously affected”.

He also expressed his support for “putting into practice the different proposals and initiatives proposed on this day (...) organizing the work plan”.
