On April 9, 2009, Commander Hugo Chávez from the Teresa Carreño Theater in Caracas assured that “we are making history, you are writing history of the good and the new. A true party from the ground up, built from the ground up.” The Bolivarian leader quoted Diosdado Cabello Rondón, who correctly explained the right way to campaign. “I am confident in you and I am sure that you will set a supreme example of what will be an admirable campaign. A real campaign, in style. Tremendous notebook, don't leave it forgotten, protect it and we're going to study, we're going to study, learn, debate,” he explained. “As one of the leaders of that Fourth Republic said: Unburied corpses; there are adecos, Copeyans and their derivatives throwing a knife on each other, my friend, I was remembering, yesterday I was seeing some images and reading some things,” Chávez said anecdotally. He also recalled statements made by some opposition spokespersons: “here is an opposition party that says that the table, the table became famous, that table, is the famous table. Oh? The table, the table, the table [Laughter] well one of those parties says that you have to call primaries to get out of conflicts, how are they going to... it's just that the dough doesn't give them the cake Huh? [Laughter]”.
