Chávez Undefeated: The People came to this Palace not to leave anymore and it has been demonstrated

After returning to the Miraflores Palace, on April 14, 2002, the Leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Chávez Frías, confirmed that the Pueblo had come to that space to never leave and that had been demonstrated.

“The People came to this Palace not to leave anymore and it has been demonstrated. Speaking of the People, I must tell you that what has happened in Venezuela, in these last few hours, is truly unprecedented in the world. The Venezuelan people and their real soldiers, the Venezuelan people and their Armed Forces, those soldiers of the people, have written, and this is not grandiloquence, it's a truth, it's a new page and what a great page for the Venezuelan history of Latin America,” said the Commander, after receiving a hug of love and loyalty of then-Vice President Diosdado Cabello, who once again handed him his position as President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

He also stressed that the people and the soldiers of Venezuela are also an example for the world. “A People that has definitely awakened, from a people that has recognized and assumed its rights, its obligations, of an Armed Force whose essence, whose structural heart, whose officers, non-commissioned officers, troops are aware of their historical responsibility and have not allowed themselves to be confused, manipulated or deceived,” he emphasized.
