Chávez before imperial plans: Let's live up to that colossus that was Bolívar

On November 21, 2009, from the Teresa Carreño Theater in Caracas, Commander Hugo Chávez warned of multiple imperial attempts to generate divisions in the revolutionary forces of Venezuela and the world.

“How much damage division has done to our people, division has been a common factor, first in Latin America, the empire has always known how to prevent true unity between us, now it is making desperate efforts to achieve it again,” said Commander Chávez.

In this sense, he urged the revolutionary leadership to “live up to that colossus that was Bolivar, let's not leave him alone again in his labyrinth, let's triumph with him, now because this is the time for Bolivar's victory and it is the victory of Socialism , of the Bolivarian Revolution, of the unity of our America, of the defeat of capitalism, of imperialism, of the dignity of man and the human being”.
