Every April 28, the World Day for Safety and Health at Work is celebrated, in honor of those who are victims of accidents at work.

This date was proclaimed by the International Labor Organization (ILO) with the objective of promoting the awareness and responsibility of employers to ensure safety in workplaces for physical protection.

On May 1, 2012, Commander Hugo Chávez enacted the Organic Law for Workers, which establishes the safety of men and women in the workplace, among other benefits.

In 2020, President Nicolás Maduro created the 7+7 method to counteract the spread of COVID-19 and guarantee health to workers and the Venezuelan people in general.

Today, the Venezuelan people, despite very low cases, maintain biosecurity in their workplace.
